THEODORE GODFREY-CASS

Originally from Los Angeles, Theodore is an artist whose work explores themes of place, community, and lived experience. After relocating to London and now finds himself in the heart of the North East of England, Theodore dedicated his artistic practice to capturing the character and spirit of local life.

This series, a collection of hand-drawn digital illustrations of local businesses, reflects his appreciation for the region and its people. Drawn to the community spirit and warmth of the North East, Theodore has fully embraced its culture, even learning the meaning of “canny.”
The works in this exhibition are dedicated to the community that welcomed him, and to the friendships and experiences that have shaped his time here.
